Your character's origins? Empty Your character's origins?

Heya, guys!
I was just curious to know why you made your RP characters the way you have. Like, what are the different elements that went into making them. I'm just curious.

Simple.

I made Mitsuo be able to do the things I cannot.

The emotional disability however, I don't know... I wanted an element I don't have in any of my other characters and that happened, I guess.

Also to make RPing easier for me, I always add an element of me in my characters. In Mitsuo, that would be morals and common sense.

My characters always are a huge part of myself. Cora is modeled mostly after me, esspecially looks wise. (Apart from differences of course, for example the muscles, she has way more muscles and thus weighs more)

Mentally wise...lots of factors actually, I had a character before that just had one other personality and she was kinda based on that one a bit

I'm mostly with cornix on this one, Auth is almost completely modeled on (past) me, both mentally and physically (with the exception he is somewhat taller and somewhat heavier). By now, I've changed a lot from that, but I still enjoy going into that mindset for roleplaying Auth.

->Also, due to the original rules of the original forum, his construction is mostly made to reap benefits. All I was doing was get the extra stats from being Survey, while RP-ing him like he were MP.

->Also, the thing about his father is mostly due to my view of my own father. He ain't dead though, that was just to detach Auth from it, as it simply was beginning to be a burden.

Marco is a mash-up of me and some AoT characters who I really felt I could relate to, or I was inspired by. Losing my family or other people I am very close to has always been something I am afraid of, so I created a "what if" scenario and decided that I could use this as a driving force for Marco to conquer his fears. Also, his choice to view things from a child's perspective is both a coping mechanism and some sort of irony, as he never really had a decent childhood.

Mostly me I guess, but then add more callousness and I guess combat ability. I also sort of used some of the cliche's of INTJ personality type when making him, since that's my personality type.

Physically he's a lot like I am as well. Plus the appearance helps to fit with the INTJ personality stuff since he could pull off being a movie villain.

The fear of open dark spaces kind of comes from the fact that I used to hate that too, and I had an imagination that would go way overboard when I was in the dark and there was a lot of room around.
