The First Attempt to Retake Trost District

Locations: Trost, Trost District Interior Gate

Time of Day: Early evening - Night - Morning

Plot: After the evacuation of Trost District and a few days of watching over the interior gate, it was determined that the colossal titan attack was a hit and run. For a few tense years, Humanity held its breath in wait to see if another strike would come. Commander Pixis and his staff, in the midst of all of this, have spent many days and nights devising an operation that would retake the fallen district. If they succeeded, not only would they have avenged their defeat from that day, it would be the first time that humanity ever recovered its own territory.

Finally, with years having passed, a plan was made and soldiers of the Garrison Regiment, accompanied by volunteers and assigned personnel from the other military factions, gathered before the interior gate of Trost where Pixis would explain the plan to them. The operation is divided into three steps. First, an offensive force of soldiers will make hit and run strikes on titans outside the interior gate and begin luring the rest of their population within the city. If the number of titans is brought down significantly, the offensive guard will signal a defense force to begin the establishment of a defensive line, including the use of cannons, temporary resupply bases, and ambush points. All of this is integrated to numb down the population of titans and prepare for a quick and decisive defense against the appearance of the armored titan.

Step two takes place immediately after the defensive line is established. The engineer corps is deployed to the top of the exterior gate where they may begin to survey the extent of the damage and take measurements of the hole to anticipate sealing it within the future. After these steps are taking, the field commander may make the decision to pursue a means to seal the gate, perhaps with the use of the boulder or nearby rubble, or fall back to the defensive line to resupply and await the armored titan.

The final step takes place in the event of the armored or the colossal titan making an appearance. If the armored titan should be spotted, all troops within the defensive line must remain in position and prepare to make use of the prepared tactics and tools at their disposal. Offensive teams, depending on their current position, are either to eliminate titans that could interfere with the engagement or directly assault the armored titan. All soldiers are to continue to assault it until is dead or has begun to retreat. If the colossal titan shows up at any point, all forces are to converge and attempt to cut its nape, with only a few squads to be left behind on the defensive line to intercept the armored titan if it arrives as well.

Once these steps are completed, all forces will gather back at the interior gate and the engineers will discuss with Commander Pixis whether or not a solution was found to seal the breached wall.

So, at least in concept, we do approve of this.


If it does get to the Armoured/Colossal titan, though, an admin will have to be RP-ing their actions.

The major issue is actually server activity. Ask around, see if you can get 4-5 people interested in doing this; if you can, it's all good and you can even consider it a forum event.
